  1. Wow!

That is awesome Meaghan. You would get along well with my wife. She is the virtual font of book knowledge (Though she doesn't think so). She burns through book after book.

  2. You sound like me... except that I worked in a Christian bookstore for 2 years and I didn't have to buy them all. I wish I could have though...

  3. Hey Julia, I don't think I can ever work in a bookstore!! They will never get me to work ... unless part of my job description is reading :D hmmm ... is there such a dream-job around?

  4. Doug, I have so much to read and so much to do that I have picked up the habit of scanning books and not reading them. And this is not good ...

  5. I must say this: when I started blogging (I was influenced by a friend to do so - she's in http://preludetolive.blogspot.com) I did not think anyone would be interested to read my endless ramblings.

But I am amazed with the friends I am making in the process. Thanks for staying :) Doug, Julia.

  6. Maeghan,

That's an incredible list! If you've read even close to a third of all those books... wow, I'm speechless.

There's many great ones in there, and a bunch of excellent Christian authors.

    Consider me mega-impressed.

  7. Wow ... thanks. And yeah, I did read almost a third of them already. But there are so many more I haven't!

  8. Yes, that was a problem when working there. I always took them home to read, but found it hard to stop at the store! I got in the bad habit there of scanning the back covers....

  9. That's it then ... I should not be looking for a job in any book-related organisations! bookstores, libraries, publishing houses :o) :o)

  12. I love it! :) You have lots of great find!! Thanks for your comment on my blog. The book list I posted was just on somebody else's blog - I can't remember who's!

I am going to have to make a list of all the books I do have like you did though -- I need to put mine in alphabetical order like that by author - that would be helpful! BUT I like to put them in size order though haha.

anyway - I'm glad we have a shared interest of loving books! :) Have a great day!

    - Randi - :)

  13. Oh my Pearlie, I am VERY impressed. I love books and the written word. I plan to blog about that soon. I have a lot of books too but I don't think I can match you. I have read all of mine and some I have read 3 or 4 times (the really good ones that have a lot to say Spiritually). I'm so glad to get to know you and am very impressed. You must be very smart.

  15. Randi,
Yes, I am glad we have a shared interest. Let me know when you have listed out your books. I suggest you use aNobii, then you can import it into Excel or something. I started before I knew about all these tools.
