I was trapped in a stomach of a whale yesterday and today I am a humble donkey. As much as the other "donkeys" insisted they are horses (there was a misinterpretation by the tee designers) I am proud of being a donkey: to be humble and submissive to Jesus Christ, my Lord and Saviour.
As I reflect upon it, this conference is poles apart from the church planning retreat I barely attended a few days ago. Amidst the sea of people, I know God is with me. And it reminded me of the words of a song Grace Notes sang in Singapore, "as aliens and strangers in a hostile foreign land."
