I think it is because it is putting "self" and "flesh" on the throne instead of God. It is also a very easy sin to fall into and one we ALL have to fight against IMHO. Susan
Depends.. like Susan said it can often be a sinful selfish habit.. but sometimes life comes down really hard.. sometimes feeling sorry for yourself is just an expression of the mourning of a loss.. and that is okay for a season.
