Restoran Goon Wah - one of the best in town

I have not been to Restoran Goon Wah in a really long time and so when my mom suggested we go there for lunch, I was all for it. 

And I was not disappointed. The food was really awesome. 

XO Fish Head Noodles - seriously the best in town

Hot Pot Lou She Fun - I don't remember whether it was served in a hotpot the last time when I was there and this dish never did impress me. But it was my mom's favourite and so we ordered it. I changed my mind. It was awesome and I ate most of it!

Stir Fried Pork Maw and Intestines with Dried Shrimps - I was expecting dark marinated braised intestines when I ordered this but it was ok though a tad too spicy for me. 

Fuchok Barley - and it we closed it with one of my most favourite dessert and I must say this fuchok barley is really good. It's not watery but thick and filling. 

There are a few more dishes I wanted to order but with just my mom and I, this the max we could go. Just too bad that they are only opened until 4:00pm everyday. 

I'll be back. Next weekend sounds good.

Banh Mi Cafe at Bandar Puchong Jaya

My husband and I have a new favourite restaurant here at Banh Mi Cafe. 

And we had this today - Bun Bo, rice vermicelli with pork trotters and beef slices. 

It’s so good.

Fruit juice in BreadFruits

One of my favourite restaurants is BreadFruits in Faber Tower, Taman Desa but I have not been there for quite awhile. 

I received this text yesterday. 

And my son reminded me of it and so we decided to have brunch in BreadFruits today. 

This was my choice of the free juice: pineapple, beetroot, banana and something else I can’t remember. It was very good. 

A pretty effective way to have me back at the restaurant.

Walnut Cafe & Bar

My son and I had dinner in Walnut Cafe & Bar in Bandar Puteri, Puchong. The food there is quite good and it was quite crowded.

Breadfruits at Taman Desa

I wanted to go get groceries from De Market at Taman Desa after church today but my hubby kept commenting that it was too far away. 

I insisted and he finally relented. 

Had he knew that Faber Tower where De Market is, has been spruced up very nicely, he wouldn't have been reluctant to go. 

I had wanted to go try the restaurants there and we decided on Breadfruits, and we were so glad we did. 

 

We ordered these, which tasted so very good. 

 Gourmet Antipasto Breakfast Platter for me.

Satisfry Up for my hubby. 

Tomato Chorizo Pasta for my son. 

And we saw this only on our way out.
