I want to have a boring life

I don't like any adventures or worse, any problems in life, and so can I decide to have a boring life? Or is it too self-serving?

A peaceful mediocre life is a good life...can I call it contentment?

I have read this book 6 months ago but I do have a very bad memory and I cannot remember what's in it. So looks like I will have to read it again.

A glimpse of joy in his eternal presence

I am thankful to my God for today. For whatever reason, I found so much joy in him, so much so that I think I am getting a glimpse of what it would be like when I am with him, when I am home in heaven.

It is no coincident that today's sermon is from 1 Thess 4:13-18, the hope of resurrection. We have hope in the living God. "We will be with the Lord forever. So encourage each other with these words." (v. 17-18)
