Slide:ology and Resonate

I was introduced by my colleague to Slide:ology by Nancy Duarte. I got a copy of it and soon I also bought its prequel, Resonate. They are really good books. 

If you would like to find out how those excellent speakers do it, these books would be a good start. 

Slide:ology is about how to create good visual aids and Resonate is how you can make your presentation so good that it resonates with your audience. 

I am actually using them as material in my preparation for a training programme at work. There is so much in those books I hardly know where to begin. 

However, I feel we are long way off from the ideal and so I still have to meet them halfway.
