Trust, trust, trust

Whoever trusts in his own mind is a fool, but he who walks in wisdom will be delivered.
Proverbs 28:26

Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths.

    Yes. For the biblical tradition though, the heart stands for the will as do our mind.

    I understand. It is why I usually use innermost being (ala John 7:38) and outermost being (i.e. the flesh).

    Ah! Ok, got it.
    I was reading my ESV ... "out of his heart will flow rivers of living water".
