I took the time today to view through my posts this year, and again I am thankful I have persisted in keeping the blog, which is not easy at times. I saw that 2008 was a faith journey. It was challenging and draining. I realised (again) this: be careful what I pray for! In the month of May, I posted this -- "Faith is for use, not keep ... It boils down to what we do with our faith, its practice and exercise. It is not so much a prayer to increase our faith but a prayer to help us exercise it," and what followed in subsequent months were truly a testing of my faith.
I thank the Lord for his deliverance, his closeness and his love. He is certainly my steadfast love, my hope and my joy.
