Today we discussed Methodism in the context of its relevance and practicability in revitalising the life of the church today. I think we need to start from the basics. In Wesley's model of holiness from being a true follower of Christ, to personal and social holiness and towards to spiritual holiness, we need to go back to the basics, to strip away all the fluff and get back to real business of praying, reading and studying of Scripture, supporting and loving one another in Christ, helping those in need and reaching out to those who needs to know Christ. Anything else is periphery.
