Looming ahead

Looming ahead I'm on this road
It only stretches on
Find something good I really hoped
Even if it's a chance upon
It was however as I have expected
Seemed to be but a delusion
A prerequisite has been neglected
Now what we have is confusion
I really hope, to God I can only plea
Revellers would come to know
Only God and that only he
Not for us to put on a show
Yearn then for nothing but Him alone

O God, help us.
